The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. These fine drops first mature in former bourbon casks in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand casks made of French oak. This takes place in the southwest of France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was awarded the title of world's best master blender in 2012, always carefully selects the casks for the secondary maturation. Most previously stored wine, another type of spirit, or even beer in them. The type of cask used is chosen individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
