Gaining its name from the mountain at whose foot the distillery is situated, Ben Nevis Distillery was founded in 1825 by John Mcdonald. Matured in a combination of Bourbon and Oloroso Hogsheads, this 13-year-old whisky opens with notes of apricot marmalade, clootie dumpling, and ginger on the nose. This follows through to notes of golden syrup and cardamom buns on the palate, finishing with notes of cocoa and blackcurrants.

Ltd, the owner of Springbank and Glengyle Distillery.
