"Marie Galante 2023 Rum Depot exclusive"

An exceptional rum from Guadeloupe, more precisely from the island of Marie-Galante. The Agricole rum was distilled in December 2023 and bottled in April 2026 at cask strength with 73,9 % vol.

The distillation took place at Bielle, with the rum going straight into the barrel at a full 77 % vol. to preserve the impressive aroma profile as well as possible. The rum was then transported to Germany aboard the Avontuur, a traditional cargo sailing ship. There it was transferred into a 30-liter barrel made of French oak, which had previously been used for wine storage. Due to the barrel size, only 60 bottles are available.
