The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of doubly matured Haute Couture Rums. These fine spirits first mature in former Bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in the southwest of France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was named the world's best Master Blender in 2012, carefully selects the barrels for the secondary maturation every time. Most of the time, they previously held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of barrel used is chosen individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
