This single cask bottling matured for 29 years, most of that time under continental climate conditions, in an American white oak barrel. Even though this rum was distilled at a unnamed distillery, any rum connoisseur will probably know which distillery is meant by the HD abbreviation. With its 64,3%vol. and the high ester level of 1300 to 1400 gr/hlpa, this single cask rum has a lot to offer. There have already been some bottlings from 1993, but none with this age.

As soon as it is poured, the rum is immediately present with incredible fruitiness.

Nose: Great ester notes, grilled pineapple and lots of overripe banana. After some time to rest, it becomes even more present on the nose.
Taste:  ripe banana and pineapple, along with a little wood. Many rums are fun; this one is truly a lot of fun.
