The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. These fine spirits first mature in former bourbon casks in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand casks made of French oak. This takes place in southwestern France. Alexandre Gabriel, named the world’s best master blender in 2012, carefully selects the casks for the secondary maturation every time. They often previously held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of cask used is chosen individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector’s items.
