The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. The fine spirits first mature in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in the southwest of France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was named the world's best master blender in 2012, always carefully selects the barrels for the finishing stage. They usually held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer before. The barrel type used is chosen individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
