The well-known Islay distillery Kilchoman presents the limited edition Fino Sherry Matured. We would like to take this opportunity to explore the world of sherry together with you: from dry Manzanilla to sweet Pedro Ximénez, this Spanish spirit offers a wide range of flavors. We also introduce you to the high-quality vintage spirits from the Guglhof distillery.  The Kilchoman Fino Sherry Matured is the limited bottling from the Kilchoman house. The malt matured in Fino Sherry butts that had previously been used by Bodega Miguel Martin in Spain, from which the Glenfarclas distillery also sources its sherry casks. During its time in the cask, the whisky took on the fresh green apple character of the Fino butts and harmonizes wonderfully with the citrus sweetness, cooked fruits, and maritime peat smoke of Kilchoman. In a modern world without borders, reflecting on origins, traditions, and old values can be a beautiful contrast. It is a philosophy that the independent Kilchoman Distillery of the Wills family on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay is certainly committed to - one of the most legendary whisky regions, with rugged beauty and wide sandy beaches. In 2005, Anthony Wills had a visionary goal as the first distillery founder on the Isle of Islay in 124 years: to revive the original craftsmanship of "farm distilling." The basis for this is still the fertile soil around the village of Kilchoman for their own barley cultivation, as well as the quality of the incomparable Islay peat shaped by the Atlantic. All of this is what makes Kilchoman unique today. With the 100% Islay range, the products stand for the only Islay Single Malt Whisky that is produced "From Barley to Bottle" - from barley to bottle - on site and exclusively using traditional craftsmanship.
