a dark blended rum, from several Dominican distilleries dist 2003 bottled 2017 made from molasses.  American white oak barrels were used 

Nose: vanilla, elderflowers and chocolate, 

Taste: rich and honeyed, followed by roasted aromas , bitter almonds, elderflower and grapes, fruity, sweet, tart, like on the nose, accessible, expressive. Mineral, slightly earthy and floral notes.

Finish: nuts and dry grapes

The first sugar cane plantations were developed on this island. The quality of rums from the Dominican Republic is known worldwide.

The 13-year-old single cask surprises with its complexity and is still very accessible.
