This blend consists of full-bodied Barbados rum, fruity rum from Jamaica, as well as exceptionally smooth rum from the Dominican Republic.

The rum gets its 12-month finish in former Oloroso sherry casks from Bodegas Tradición in Cádiz, Spain..

Nose and on the palate: it is exceptionally fruity, with notes of dates and sweet sherry, plum jam, anise, bitter almond, honey, and spicy oak.

Finish: A long, dry finish with tannins makes you want another sip.

The new Bellamy's Reserve Rum bottling matured in cask for a full 12 months. During that time, it developed excellently until it reached its optimum this month and could be bottled.
