Nose: heavy notes of leather and wood as well as cherry, plum, caramelized Demerara sugar, mint, fruit bread, dark chocolate, cassis and citrus.

Palate: powerful with hints of smoke, chocolate, fruit, wood, iodine, oil, mint, leather and licorice.

Finish: long-lasting and minty with nuances of leather, wood and medicinal notes. 

This rum was distilled in June 1991. 31 years of continental aging in oak casks and was bottled in August 2022 at cask strength of 54,3% vol.
