The popular distillery gave  the core range a new design in 2019, which means this whisky looks different from its first release year in 2018. Nevertheless, the quality has remained unchanged. It is still a fantastic whisky. The Isle of Arran distillery was built in 1 994 at the foot of the village of Lochranza. On June 29, 1 995, the first spirit flowed from the stills, bringing legal distilling back to Arran after more than 150 years. This distillery was the first in a new generation of distilleries in the 1990s. Since that day in June 1 995, when the first cask was filled, Arran has produced first-class unpeated Single Malt Whisky, which has gained international recognition through numerous gold medals won.   The latest chapter in their whisky history on the island began in June 2019, when their second distillery in Lagg in the south of Arran opened its doors to the public and began producing heavily peated whisky in Arran's signature style. Almost 25 years after whisky distilling began in Lochranza, Isle of Arran Distillers are now the proud owners and operators of two very different and unique distilleries on the island of Arran.
