The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. The fine drops first mature in former bourbon casks in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand casks made of French oak. This takes place in south-west France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was awarded the title of world's best Master Blender in 2012, carefully selects the casks for the post-maturation every time. Before that, they mostly contained wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of cask used is selected individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
