Nose: Rich and intense with aromas of oak, caramel, and vanilla in the foreground, along with cinnamon, apples, raspberries, and limes.

Palate: Dry yet fresh in taste. As on the nose, distinct citrus aromas can also be perceived on the palate. Added to this are notes of grapefruit, sorrel, gooseberries, wood, tannins, and pepper.

Ironroot Harbinger 115 is an overproof bourbon that has won many prizes and awards. The grain used, for example, comes from within a 100 km radius and is processed on site at the distillery all the way through to filling into the cask.   The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture rums. The fine drops are first matured in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand casks made of French oak. This takes place in southwestern France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was named the world's best Master Blender in 2012, always selects the casks for secondary maturation with great care. Most of them previously held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of cask used is chosen individually for each rum in order to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collectors' items.
