Most bottlings of Bellamy's Reserve Rum are highly limited – often a release is available from only a single barrel. This series offers the diversity of premium rum from various origins and different finishes. The common denominator is that the rums are aged long and individually, are enjoyable neat, and score high on authenticity.

The name "Bellamy’s Reserve Rum" comes from Samuel Bellamy, the most successful pirate of all time. In his brief one-year captain career, he captured over 50 ships in 1716 and 1717 and amassed vast riches with his immense seafaring skill. His sole goal: a wedding with his beloved Maria Hallett, whose parents refused to accept him as a son-in-law as long as he was just a common sailor. Tragically, he died on his way back to her: off the coast of Cape Cod, only 250 meters in a straight line from Maria’s house, Bellamy sank with his flagship, the Whydah Gally, in a severe storm.
