With the inaugural release “The Inaugural Release” , the long-held wish of the Laing family is fulfilled: to produce their own Single Malt Scotch Whisky on the magical island of Islay, shaped by the three generations of the Laing family, which has been an important part of the whisky industry since the 1940s. The Ardnahoe Distillery combines the distinctive Islay characteristics of peat and smoke with sweet fruitiness and intense depth of flavor. Under the direction of whisky legend Jim McEwan , the creation of the traditional, full-bodied Islay spirit was brought to life, reviving the classic Islay style - A New Islay Classic.
