This edition combines Islay's powerful, unmistakable smoky signature with the fruit-driven depth of selected red wine casks and is aimed at connoisseurs who want to discover Islay whisky beyond classic cask profiles. The single malt matured in red wine casks that previously held premium wines. In these casks, the distinctive Islay character develops a new facet: smoke remains present, yet is accompanied by dark fruit, delicate sweetness, and velvety textures. Bottled at a robust 54.2% vol., this whisky remains uncompromising, intense, and authentic. As a German Fairs Exclusive, this bottling is deliberately limited to just 600 bottles and available only at whisky fairs and from Mac-Talla Lighthouses - a clear statement for trade visitors and lovers of exceptional cask maturation.
