If you later open a premium spirit, arrange the trip home in advance or stay on site. Alcoholic beverages are also subject to legal age requirements and local regulations.

Enjoyment with moderation instead of showmanship

A rare bottling does not impress because of the loudness of the occasion, but through attention to origin, cask selection, and maturation profile. After the eclipse, there is time for that: first smell it, then try a small sip, make notes, and if needed work with a few drops of water. That way, out of two rare moments - the view of the sky and the special bottle - comes an evening you remember for the right reasons.
