Der Longrow durchläuft zweimal die Brennblasen und ist mit einer starken Rauchnote unverwechselbar, sie wird durch das zweitägige Darren mit Islay-Torf erzeugt.  Der Longrow Single Malt stammt im Übrigen aus einer anderen Linie: Die einstige Longrow-Distillery wurde bereits 1824 von John Beith \u0026amp; Co. gegründet, schloss aber nach nur wenig mehr als 70 Jahren wieder ihre Tore.
