Farbe: Die schöne, dunkle Farbe rührt unter anderem vom Farbstoff her, der direkt nach der Destillation in die Fässer gegeben wurde.

Nase: Aromatisch zeigt sich der Bellamy's Reserve Rum mit einer komplexen Kombination aus Noten von Bitterorange, Tabak, Holz, dunkle Beeren, Butterscotch, Rosinen sowie etwas Zartbitterschokolade und einem Hauch Piment. 

Gaumen: Im Mund wiederholen sich die Eindrücke aus dem Bouquet bei einem verblüffend weichen Mundgefühl und einer feinen Süße.

Abgang: Der Tropfen hallt mittellang und trocken nach.
